Public schools serving the Hernando Beach district are Weeki Wachee High, Westside Elementary and Fox Chapel Middle. The middle and high schools were rated average by the county in 2018, butWestside Elementary scored a top rat- ing. There are numerous private schools in the area. The Suncoast Parkway runs into Hernando and means just an hour to Tampa Inter- national Airport, said Mina, an important factor for those who travel frequently. But value that trumps all, he said.
